How is a quote different from an invoice?

A quote is an offer with a validity date. An invoice bills for work or goods already agreed. This page does not create a binding contract.

Can the client sign this in DocumentMage?

No. Print or download the quote and handle acceptance through your own process.

Does the total include tax automatically?

Only if you enter a tax rate. The tool does not look up local sales tax.
